A timeless Bondi Junction barber studio where raw materials, bespoke detailing and a refined industrial palette create an experience closer to a boutique lounge than a traditional salon.
brief + design approach
THE BRIEF: The client wanted to create a premium barber shop that stood apart from traditional salons. Having previously designed barber shops himself, he engaged KCreative Interiors to elevate the customer experience and create a destination that felt authentic, refined and enduring.
DESIGN APPROACH: Raw concrete, blackened timber, natural timber and steel form the foundation of the space. Bespoke stainless steel joinery, handcrafted barber stations, Chesterfield seating and black rope detailing add character and warmth, while carefully considered lighting softens the industrial palette.

The custom barber stations combine warm timber and exposed steel to create practical yet refined workspaces, while the black timber panelling, stainless steel reception desk and Chesterfield seating give the studio its distinctive identity.
