A thoughtfully reimagined heritage bungalow in Bondi, designed to bring together timeless architecture, contemporary family living and the calm simplicity of Tropical Minimalism.
brief + design approach
THE BRIEF: Transform a dark inter-war home into a light-filled family sanctuary while respecting the home's original character. The focus was on creating spaces that felt calm, connected and functional for everyday living.
DESIGN APPROACH: Steel-framed glazed doors were introduced to draw natural light deep into the home and strengthen the connection between indoors and out. A restrained palette of natural materials, bespoke joinery and carefully curated furnishings creates warmth, simplicity and longevity.
