THE BRIEF: Transform what initially felt like an overwhelming knock-down project into a warm, highly functional family home. Working within a modest budget, the focus was on creating a timeless home that made the most of every square metre.
DESIGN APPROACH: Careful planning brought greater balance and symmetry to the irregular site while maximising natural light and functionality. The budget was focused on the elements that would have the greatest impact, including timeless materials, custom joinery and considered spatial planning.
